WHAT A FANTASTIC PLACE! This is by far the best bar I’ve been to in a long time, and I go to a decent number of Happy Hours around Minneapolis. I didn’t catch the bartender’s name but he was helpful and creative and knowledgeable. The drinks were perfect, too. Not too boozy but not too sweet - the perfect balance. The building is very unassuming from the outside - a little black box - but the interior is nicely decorated and well-lit. The ambiance and artwork are fun. The whole establishment seems wholly intent on providing the best possible experience for patrons. I will be coming back here a lot.

Meteor bar is a hidden gem in Minneapolis on the intersections of North Loop, Northeast and North and boasts a good crowd because of it. Further context, it’s located in an industrial (shipping, fishing, packing) area adjacent to North Loop. Big with the service industry professionals and everyone else looking for a good gritty cocktail bar - think if hole-in-the-wall dive bars made amazing and creative cocktails. Cocktails are delicious and their specialty, 🌭’s are good, affordable, and comparable more tasty takes on a ballpark dog you’d get at a sports game. Staff are super cute and friendly. Lastly, the vibe and ambiance is low light, underground, blue collar and intimate.

Expertly crafted drinks with some of the most reasonable prices in the Twin Cities. Meteor has the look and feel of a neighborhood watering hole, with the drinks menu and back bar of a high-end craft cocktail bar. The service is attentive and all the folks behind the bar are extremely knowledgeable.

Cool cocktail bar. Drinks were good. The frozen Irish coffee was heavy but delicious. Kaleidoscope drink was also tasty. Service was excellent and bartenders were friendly. The bar is a bit small so it might not be the easiest to get a spot. Also have a pinball machine that takes quarters. Bathrooms were clean. Prices are okay, definitely not cheap but not crazy. Would recommend for solid cocktails and a nice atmosphere.

What looks unassuming on the outside is a hidden gem in North Minneapolis. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and they switch the theme of their menus a few times a year. My partner and I very much enjoyed the Dead like Dallas, Secret Tiger, and the Xochitl. The NA Drink Telesto was phenomenal. Don't sleep on the Kimchi Mayo Hot Dog either!

Really really good cocktails and knowledgeable bar tenders. Their classes are also a lot of fun if you are looking to learn more about different types of liquors (we did the rum class). Just make sure you have a drive lined up, while they do have a parking lot...you will likely want a ride once you leave!

Stopped in for the first time after seeing Meteor was named one of the world's top cocktail bars by the Pinnacle Guide. Absolutely LOVE this place. Bartenders are amazing and all the cocktails were delicious.

Ok, Meteor is my favorite cocktail bar in the MSP cities. They have the classics as well as their rotating cocktails, which are incredibly creative. The bartenders are so great. Friendly and,more importantly, able to make whatever you'd like and you will likely love it. They also have some great hot dogs 🌭, which you should def try!! I've been here solo many times & had great conversations with whoever is sitting by the bar. Highly, highly recommend!!

I always feel like I'm letting someone in on a secret when I bring them here. Meteor has all the dive bar feels and some of the most delicious hand-crafted cocktails in town. Their bartenders are incrediblely talented and super friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Avoid busy times if you want a seat at the bar or one of their small tables. Try the hot dogs, thank me later.
